Getting Veg

How we operate has changed. We no longer sell veg through a veg box scheme and the amount we send to shops is much reduced.

Our veg is also available to buy from our farm gate honesty box and when we have spare from:

However most of our produce is shared between our volunteers who come along and help grow the crops.

We have both a core group of volunteers and others who drop along occasionally.

Veg available through the season

March, April, May, June:  Salad, spinach, purple sprouting broccoli, kale, cauliflower, cabbage, herbs, pea shoots, spring onions, garlic, Chinese cabbage, carrots, beetroot, leeks, spinach, chard, pak choi, celeriac.

July, August, September:  Tomatoes, aubergines, chillies, cucumber, salad, courgette, khol rabi, garlic, kale, turnip, radish, spring onion, sweetcorn, cabbage, celery, peas, French beans, broad beans, broccoli, cauliflower,romanesco, leeks, onions, shallots, marrow, carrots, potatoes, herbs, spinach, chard, sprouts.

October, November, December:  Carrots, potatoes, onions, leeks, garlic, cabbage, romanesco, kale, neeps, spring onions, herbs, salad, pea shoots, broccoli, cauliflower, beetroot, spinach, chard, sprouts, parsnips, pak choi, celeriac.
